Who is Worcester?
Over the summer of 2021, I worked on a multimedia project that celebrated Worcester's rich culture and community through telling the story of 16 individuals in the city and the mission of various organizations. By the completion of the project, I created a 6’x6’ art piece, a video documentary, a website that you can access here, and a fund at Greater Worcester Community Foundation which works to donate to some of the most impactful organizations I found in the city. I was the artist, data compiler, interviewer, website designer, videographer, video editor, and main researcher.
Where is Worcester?
January 2022, Bachez created a variety of pieces depicting scenes from a diversity of locations across Worcester with his ultimate goal: to "get Holy Cross students off the hill". The pieces were presented at a show held in March of 2022 where students were invited to get to meet some of the individuals and make connections with the organizations he worked with. All money raised from sold pieces from the show went to the Fund at Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
